COLOUR GRADING
Much of our colour palette is achieved right on set with lighting, set staging and propping. However, there are additional steps we take in post production to reinforce the AEG look and feel.
-
We like images with nice visual clarity - avoid too dark blacks and overexposed highlights
-
We may emphasise cool and warm color tones - we need to find the right balance between cool and warm color tone
-
We allow some props to be eye grabbing
-
Maintain colorimetry consistency
-
Compare colours to our Colour collection and make sure they match
-
Preserve natural skin tones as much as possible

VIDEO SAMPLES
Videos take a slightly different approach to grading, aiming for more subtle, natural colours with visual softness and less contrast. Nonetheless, they should still fairly closely match the grading of photos. Below you can find samples of videos with applied grading. We have also included a patch of neutral grey to help you distinguish subtle differences in colour and tonality.
