Colour grading

Much of our colour palette is achieved right on set with lighting, set staging and propping. However, there are additional steps we take in post production to reinforce the AEG look and feel.

General principles

  • Our brand is proudly red, and we have created a world around our colour

  • Think of it as a red thread, tying together many diverse assets, ensuring greater cohesion, and stronger brand recall wherever our consumers encounter us

  • We like images with nice visual clarity - avoid too dark blacks and overexposed highlights

  • We allow some props to be eye grabbing

  • Maintain colorimetry consistency

  • Preserve natural skin tones as much as possible

Videos_old

Our old laundry room doesn't feature our dominant red and relies on a nice contrast between warm and cool tones. It aims for more subtle, natural colours with visual softness and less contrast. Below you can find samples of videos with applied grading.

We have also included a patch of neutral grey to help you distinguish subtle differences in colour and tonality.
